Our Farm...
is
veterinarian owned and operated, family-friendly and quality oriented. We work
cooperatively with other local breeders both small and large for the benefit
of all.
Our
Alpacas...
have been carefully selected to achieve excellence in both our black
and our white Peruvian bloodlines. Seven extraordinary black Pure
Peruvians representing five distinct female bloodlines from five
different parts of Peru give us the genetic diversity needed to
produce the outstanding black animals of the future. Our genetic
diversity is further enhanced by the extensive use of a wide variety
of the best outside studs. A limited number of black and very dark
animals are available for purchase each year.
Although our primary focus is on black, we strongly believe that
every farm needs some outstanding white animals. Not only do the
best white Peruvian fleeces set the standard of excellence for which
we strive in all colors, but as the fledgling North American fiber
industry grows and develops, the demand for high quality white and
light colored fiber is likely to rise as did in Peru. Accordingly,
our herd contains some excellent whites and fawns. Our newest area
of excellence - a few fabulous grays.
Our Commitment...
is
to bring glory to God in part by raising the best alpacas we can,
by having a caring attitude toward both people and animals, helping
others whenever possible, and trying to have a positive impact on
everyone we meet.
